Summer has passed but a icy cold tea is always welcomed, especially when it tastes good and it’s healthy.
Today I want to write down three recipes for delicious fruit teas.
Apple tea:
Ingredients: 3 cups of boiled water, 4 measures of tea(any tea is fine but i suggest linden tea), 1/3 cup of honey and 3 cups of apple juice.
Preparation mode: You put the tea plants in the boiled water and leave them for 3-5 mintes to infuse, this depends on the kind of tea you’re using. Pour the tea and after mixing the honey and the apple juice together add them and leave the mix to cold down.It is recommended to be served with ice.
Peach tea:
The ingredients are: the juice from 3 cans of peach sauce, 2 cups of tea, 1 cup of sugar and 1/4 cups of lemon juice.
This is quite simple. After you’ve prepared the two cups of tea you just mix all the ingredients together and let the mixture to cool down. You can drink the obtained potion with ice.
Raspberry tea:
This is the best tea to drink during summer time and it is easy to make, it tastes good with honey but not to sweet.
So, the ingredients are: 2 cups of tea, 2 cups of raspberry juice, 1/4 cups of honey.
It is easy to obtain this kind of tea. You just mix the hot tea with the raspberry juice and the honey and mixt them until the raspberry juice has dissolved. After that let the mixture cool down.

Today I want to write about a great relaxation method. Most of us know it, but don’t apply it. It is a combination between physical and mental relaxation that will surely take the stress off your shoulders. It worked for me so it should work for you too.
Everyone of us has bad days when we have a lot going on at work, school or home. At the end of the day we fall down into our beds and try to get a good night sleep but it just won’t come. I want to show you a great method that can be done on weekends or when you have some spare time just for you.
First, what I want you to do is to prepare some towels and some clean pajamas. Some nice smelling oils or some candles. Secondly, you want to get yourself clean because stress comes from the feeling that you are dirty or covered with something. This is something at a mental state that most of us have no idea about. So take a nice shower and clean yourself up as best as you can.
Then while you turn on the water for a hot bath (I know you enjoy hot baths as much as I do) prepare a nice linden tea that you will have before going to bath or why not, while taking the bath. Add some nice smelling aromas or something just to add to the pleasure and relaxation. In the future I will show you how to prepare homemade oils and bath potions.
After you got in the bath and after you’ve had your linden tea, lets say 10 minutes after that, try closing your eyes and relaxing. Try to feel that you are in hot spring and start massaging your head and gently massage your face muscles for 10-15 minutes. This will be a huge stress relief. The contraction of the face muscles add to the general body tension and most of us ignore that.
After you got out of the bath dry yourself and then massage your whole body with some oils. This way you will feel refreshed. After that take on some fresh pajamas and get in your bed. Before going to sleep open your computer or something that can play music and put some nice relaxation music. Maybe some classic music or some asian relaxation music (this works better for me).
Start massaging your feet and toes. Did you know that our feet carry about 20 train wagons daily? We have so many energy points in our feet, so massaging them will do you very good.
After all of this get in bed with the music on and try to focus on your respiration. Try doing some breathing exercises. Nothing too fancy, just something basic. Inhale for 5 seconds then exhale for another 5. All this time imagine you are in a green place like a forest, plain or a mountain and the air is fresh. Try doing this 10 or 20 times and then try to get some sleep.
Almost forgot, before getting into bed try to ventilate the room you sleep in for 15 minutes. It will help you sleep better. Try doing all of this and I ensure you that you will get a full recharge and better you will get off all the tress you’ve accumulated in time.

Today I want to write down something about habits and change.
Some of you may think that letting go of a habit is hard and some of you may think that taking on a new habit is hard.
Well, all of you are correct. It depends from person to person how hard is to get rid or take on a new habit and it also depends on what that habit is. But we all know that there are bad habits and good ones and there are habits who get psychically obsessed and there are those that just attract you emotionally or you get used to doing a different action.
In any case if you want to get rid or take on a new habit I will show you a nice method that worked out for me. First of all you must change one thing at a time. You can’t change a lot of things at once. So what you have to do first is decide what you want to change then take a piece of paper and write that thing, action or habit down. After that decide in what do you want to change it or what does that take. For example, lets say you are a sedentary person and you want to exercise more, you will write down something like this ‘doing exercises 30 minutes in the morning’. After you decided your routine habit, action you have to decide when to do it, the time of the day. Now comes the fun part. You have to do this action, routine every day for 30 days.
Why for 30 days?
Well it takes 30 days for your mind and body to get used to this new action. After 30 days I guarantee you that you will do it without thinking and it won’t pass a day without doing it.
How does this work?
Imagine a very steep hill, almost vertical. The first 10 days represent this hill and you have to get to the top of it. You will need a lot of energy and a lot of will to get there, but it is worth the effort. In your first day your brain will tell you something like this ‘why do I need to do this? will this really help me? I was better of without forcing myself to do this’ but try to not listen to yourself and go on with your routine no matter how hard it is.
The next 10 days represent the top of that steep hill. This part is also hard because you have to gather all your strength to get over the top. This is a hard part, getting over the top, if you stop one day you’ll fall back down and have to begin all over again. Imagine a rocket trying to get out of the earths gravitational field, if it stops its propellers it falls back to the earth being attracted by the gravitational force. Imagine that rocket is you and if you stop for one day you’ll get back to your old habit.
The last 10 days will apparently seem to be the easier ones, but this is not true. Imagine those days like a smooth plain, a horizontal line. No ups no downs just going forward. But those last 10 days are important because they leave a mark on your body, they print this new habit, action, routine in your mind. It is true that you will do this new habit more natural in those last days but this doesn’t mean that you have to stop.
If you succeed in passing those 30 days you will do this thing natural every day without having to waste energy and without saying that this is hard or you don’t need this. Now all you have to do is get to work, change your bad habits into good habits, take on thing you like and live your life at your highest potential.
Remember, 30 days seem much, but this new habit may change your life and it can last a life time!

How does this kind of tea differs from the others?
Well, first of all, and this is my favorite, you can replace coffee with black tea. That is because of its great benefits and properties.
It tastes good and it is indicated during the winter or a cold season or if you travel to places where temperature is lower then your average temperature at home. This kind of tea can replace coffee because it contains caffeine but in smaller amounts then coffee, but be careful, if you drink high quantities you can suffer from insomnia, you can get nervous and agitated. It is not recommended to drink more then two cups a day.
This is great during winter because it helps protect your body due to a high content of antioxidants, minerals and vitamins. It also reduces fat and cholesterol while clearing the toxins out of your blood. Drinking black tea constant you can maintain your body weight and have a nice and attractive body, that is because it helps the digestive system and stimulates fat burnings. Drinking two cups a day can prevent diabetes.
Another good use for this potion is cleaning your teeth. If you rinse your mouth two or three times a day with black tea you will reduce the risk of cavities in your mouth.
So how come this tea differs from the green tea? First of all its taste and second its use. They both have approximately the same benefits but this kind of tea, the black tea is indicated specially in winter time because it will help you maintain a low body weight. We all now that we tend to grow a little in fat with all the holidays that winter brings us. This tea also helps maintain your teeth health and it is very useful in diets or if you have bad weight problems like obesity or if you consume a lot of bad and hard food, sweets are also included. Don’t forget that you can prevent diabetes by drinking two cups a day.
I recommend for those of you that drink coffee and/or have weight problems try to replace coffee with black tea. Besides all the great benefits that come from giving up coffee and taking up black tea you won’t have yellow teeth and you won’t have cavities.

Today I wanna talk about food. More specific how to combine food to gain more energy without putting on fat. This way you will feel energetic all day long, you won’t feel sleepy and maybe you will lose some fat.
Lets face it, a main problem nowadays is obesity. There are several reasons why people are getting so fat. One of them is the huge amount of junk food that is eaten daily. Lets take a look back into the past and lets see why our grandparents were so healthy. First of all, in today’s market there are huge varieties of foods. But this doesn’t mean we have to eat them all together at once, as we tend to do.
What I am going to write about next is just one method of combining food. To begin with, I will explain a basic principal. We often get sleepy after eating a big meal. Why is that? The answer is simple and logic. We eat too much and we eat a lot of different food, so the stomach needs more blood flow to process the food. This is why after eating a huge meal you get sleepy and you feel useless for 2-3 hours. This is not healthy. Food should give us energy not take it away.
So how can we solve this problem? Well, there are some sorts of food that can’t be combined or it is better if you don’t combine them. I’m going to divide those kind of foods in to two lists. First there are foods that contain starch, foods like cereals, bread, potatoes etc and then there are foods that contain proteins, foods like meat, milk, cheese etc.
Those two big kinds of food should not be combined. Why is that? Because starch needs an alcalin digestive environment to be digested, such environment can be found in the mouth given by saliva and proteins needs a acid environment. So combining proteins with starch will give a though time to your body processing the food. This is why eating milk and cereals won’t give you that needed energy every commercial ad promises you or eating fried potatoes with cheese on them won’t be healthy to your stomach.
Last thing, but an important thing you should note is that you should try eating as many fruits and vegetables as possible. You should try to eat them raw because that is when they have a biggest amount of water, vitamins and minerals in them. Take a look at animals. Why do carnivores die sooner then the vegetarians? Because they have less live food in their bodies. Yes, vegetables and fruits are organic food, meat is not organic. So you will get many benefits from having a vegetables/fruits based meal.
I will write in the future more precise things about how to combine food, until then try changing a bit of your diet every day and in short time you will feel good changes.

Just take a look around you an see that everything is made out of water. Everything contains less or more water. The surface of the world is 70% cover with water, our body’s are made of 70% water and if we drop only 1 or 2% of our body-water we can die. You can resist 7 days or longer without food but without water you’re dead in 2 days or less. Why am I writing down all of this? Well, it is very simple. Water is a primary source of life, but nowadays people forgot how to use it wisly.
What does that mean? Well water was replaced with all kinds of chemicals starting sodas, coffee and ending with alcohol. Let me tell you some benefits that you get from drinking water. Well, first of all you will have more energy and fell more relieved. You will have a clear mind and you will be able to concentrate for a longer period of time. Your body will be clean, you will have less toxins in you.
Now let me explain what is bad with coffee, sodas and energy drinks that are supposed to give you energy. Well, first of all your body needs huge ammounts of energy to get through a normal day in our times. When you drink sodas you actually think that you calm your thrist and you get liquids into your body. Well my friends, that’s a wrong concept. Why do you get thirsty shortly after drinking soda? The answer is simple. The more you drink the less energy you have and the more water your body needs to eliminated that soda. Yes, you’ve read corectly, your body needs water to eliminate soda.
Now a bigger problem comes with coffee and energy drinks. You ofter have the feeling that coffee and energy drinks actualy give you energy, but this is also a misunderstood concept. What coffe actualy does is it taks the small ammount of your resources, well, those left atleast, and consumes them faster that way giving you the feeling that you have more energy. But this energy runs out very fast and then what do you do? You go for another coffee. And again and again untill you’ve finished your job and then when you get home you fall right into your bed. And antoher bad thing is that your body also need water to eliminate the coffee. Besides other negative effects of the coffe and energy drinks, they attack the liver (specially the energy drinks, because they have a compound called taurine, that the human body secrets naturaly).
How much water do you actually need and how to drink it?
The ammount of water that the body needs differs from person to person. In general 2 or 2 and a half litters a day is enough for a normal person. Sportsman should drink more and the ammount differs taking in consideration the climate of the zone that you live in.
How you should drink water?
First of all you should try drinking water in the morning when you wake up. Try drinking 500ml of water before having breakfast. Why is that? Because when you sleep your body dehydrates so in the morining you need some water to replace the one lost during the night time. And second thing if you drink this water you start your stomach digestion so it will be easier for you to process food.
During any meal you shouldn’t drink anything because it will affect the digestion. After the meal you should wait 30 min and then drink water. This will offer you a plesant feeling and won’t affect the digestion this way the food will be processed entirely.
For sportsman. You should try avoiding drinking water during the training except in the dry or hot season and when you do that try drinking small ammounts and try doing it slow. After the training you should drink enough water to replace the lost quantity but also try doing slow to avoid stomach cramps.

Today I wanna focus on how you can use green tea to eliminate fat and maintain your weight balance. Nowadays many people have weight problems.
You probably heard that the green tea helps you in diets and helps you lose weight. Bu how can you actually use its properties to eliminate fat and stop new fat from adding up. Well it is kind of simple. You have to know some basic properties of the green tea.
One of the key properties of the green tea, when taking fat into consideration, is that the green tea can actually eliminates fat. How does it work? After you drink a cup of green tea your body temperature starts rising and a processes called thermogenesis starts burning the fats and accelerating the metabolism. This takes us to the second key property of this tea. That is the maintaining a balanced appetite and right after you’ve had a cup of green tea the metabolism is accelerated.
Green tea is a natural energizer. It gives you a lot of energy, most because of its vitamins and other key compounds that I’m not going to mention them. How does this property helps you lose weight? Combined with what was written above you will be forced to eat less food or in other words you will have your energy input so you will need to consume less food tho balance your energy.
Now it is not enough to know the green tea benefits. You have to know how to use them and for what to use them. I’ve written in other posts how to prepare a tea. That is a general basic method, you will see in the future that the preparation of a good tea takes time, practice and lots of knowledge (with this I want to say that in the future I will write about Cha-no-yu and other tea ceremonies). So you will use a basic infusion method to prepare a regular green tea.
If you want to use it along with diets you should ask your doctor or nutritionist how and when to use it, if you want to lose help by yourself without following a diet I recommend you this next method. Drink a medium cup of green tea in the morning and before breakfast and before lunch. Try to drink it without sweetening it.Try to drink it worm so that your body temperature won’t rise fast or too high.
I don’t recommend green tea in the evening or before going to bed because it gives you a lot of energy and you won’t have a good night sleep. Try having a linden tea instead,before going to bed.

One of my favorite tea to drink in the morning because of its great healing properties and great effects on the human body.
Why do I love this to so much in the morning? Well, simply because it has the magnificent property to heal wounded tissue and to help it recover and it is very good for your stomach. It also has a wide range of uses and comes in handy in a lot of illnesses. I’m going to write down some of the illnesses when this kind of tea is recommended.
Anorexia, enterocolitis, gastritis, colic hepatic bronchitis, hipermenoree, dysmenorrhea (pain soothes and regulates heavy bleeding), hemorrhoids, cystitis. It is also very useful when you have intestinal worms.Use it by boiling 10 g in 100ml of water and drink it in the morning before breakfast.
It acts directly to your spine that is why it is indicated if you have spine problems also it fastens up the renewal of the blood. It also eliminates bloating and stomach cramps. Because of its vast uses there are so many ways of using and drinking this tea or using the flowers of the plant.I have written about some of its healing properties in another article.Know I am going to focus on the basics of tea and the basic tea you can get from boiling this plant or more exactly its flowers.
First of all remember one rule so that the water for the tea to be perfect. Boil the water until bubbles the size of crab eyes starts to appear.After that for 250 ml of water add one full spoon of yarrow flowers and let it to infuse for 1-2 minutes.After that filter the water and drink the tea while its hot.
Another great use (bonus) for t he yarrow plant is a nice hot bath using the full plant.You need 100g of yarrow, full plant. You leave it to macerate in cold water for 12 hours.After that boil the mixture for 4 to 5 minutes, filter the water and added into your hot bath.

All of this just because it is an wonderful plant that has a variety of benefits that should not be ignored or wasted.
